Abstract

The objective of this research is to explain how it significantly influences the application of BIM technology in the formulation of building projects, given the construction deficiencies that currently exist with specialties, as a methodology, a survey of builders is elaborated and also shows the processes of the transition from the 2D model to the new 3D model (BIM). which allows the articulation of specialties during the project formulation process and minimizes failures, errors in the process of execution of the work, as the results were obtained from those surveyed to the builders, that 80% agree that the use of BIM technology due to significantly improved performance and quality of the work, while 20% consider that BIM technology is complicated.
