Abstract
A new genus of Idiocerinae leafhoppers, Bolivianoscopus gen.nov., is described herein, to accommodate the species Idiocerus costalis Osborn, 1924. The only type specimen is from Provincia del Sara, Bolivia, and is housed in the collection of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, USA.
