Abstract

© 2016 Universidad Catolica Silva Henriquez. All rights reserved. Carlos Germán Belli and Jorge Eduardo Eielson are two Peruvian poets. The author attempts to compare the work of two poets on the basis of analysis of literary figures and argumentative techniques. It is a perspective of Comparative Rhetoric. The two poets made a critique of hegemonic power structures and this is evident in two representative poems: "The ration" and "Cappella Sistina".
