Abstract

In the review of the literature on e-government it is revealed that, although different factors that influence the implementation of e-government have been identified in different studies, each researcher proposes his own categorization of factors. The purpose of this study is to identify the categories of factors and their importance in the development of e-government. Through the literature, categories were identified that group factors that can condition the success or failure of an e-government. The categories of factors are technological, organizational, people, institutional and regulatory, which correspond to those with the highest frequency of use by researchers, and which allowed us to propose a conceptual model of factor categorization.
