Abstract

© 2019 IEEE. This paper shows an overview, analysis and reflection on the importance of boosting the relationship between University-Industry-Government to carry out joint RDI activities, highlighting international experiences. It shows the case of a prominent productive sector such as the pisco production in Peru. This paper demonstrates the importance and impact of the triple helix to strengthen the development of the regions of the country, impacting society in a measurable way, both in its employment generation processes and in the transfer of knowledge, such as to boost the competitiveness of higher education institutions and companies. Finally, its importance as a strategy of associative, academic-industry and governmental innovation is highlighted, which seeks to generate bonds of trust among the actors involved to promote research, science, innovation and technology in each productive sector of the country.
