Abstract

This article analyzes two chronicles of the book Llamada perdida by Gabriela Wiener: “Tres” and “Acerca de lo madre”. Our objective is to show that in these texts, from the style of narrative journalism, a series of reflections that concern women are presented, regarding issues such as the exercise of a sexuality that transcends monogamy, the questioning of the institution of motherhood, the need for female self-representation in cultural stories. In this line of interpretation, these chronicles of Llamada perdida not only talk about what happens to a woman in particular, but their significance is extrapolated to other women who are experiencing similarly complex situations.
