Abstract

This paper presents an acceptance model of the intention to use Mobile Cash. Mobile Cash emerges as a technological solution that allows banking companies to encourage their customers to transfer money while using their mobile phones. The model selected was TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). The proposal includes three factor such as Lifestyle, Perceived Confidence and Risk and Security. A questionnaire with 27 items was applied to 406 clients from two Peruvian banks. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to evaluate the hypothesis. The Perceived Confidence, Ease of use and Security are enablers of Mobile Cash use.
