title = "Dosis equivalente en cristalino en neurorradiologi{\'a} intervencionista mediante dosimetri{\'a} por OSL",
abstract = "Over the past years there has been an increase in the assessment of eye lens doses in interventional radiology procedures. This is due to the new recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP-2012 Publication 118) that proposes to reduce equivalent dose limit for the eye lens. The aim of this study is to make estimates of equivalent dose received by eye lens of the medical staff in interventional neuroradiology procedures. Consequently, this study presents an alternative for eye lens dosimetry. For this purpose nanoDot dosimeters based on optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) technology from Landauer Inc. product were used. The measurements obtained for equivalent dose received by medical staff of neuroradiology were on average, lower than the new equivalent dose limit for the eye lens proposed by ICRP.",
