Abstract

The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) allows the organization to store, deliver and manage content in real time, so as to speed up response times. However, in organizations that provide computer services for the development of theses, an ECM is not usually used, despite the complexity of document management associated with this activity. This paper proposes an enterprise content management model that represents the phases that must be considered for good document management by using the ECM SharePoint and the creation of workflows for each process to be treated. To validate the model, a tool was implemented in 2 virtual companies, and 28 stakeholders, whose perception of conformity of the model is between high and very high, were surveyed. In addition, the use of the tool in 7 projects shows a very significant reduction of the response time to the requests, thus, the re-shipments of the same ones are canceled.
