Abstract
We study the optimal temperature to obtain YBa2Cu 3O7-δ epitaxial films grown onto SrTiO3 substrates by direct solution deposition. The samples received heat treatment at 820, 840 and 860 °C, then characterized by XRD, observing the (00l) profiles; and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The TC-onset for all the samples was 90 K. In addition, the current-voltage (I-V) measurements shows typical tunneling signals corresponding to normal metal-superconducting junctions indicating the films are promising for potential electrical applications.
