Abstract

This article addresses the link between Human Resources Management and job satisfaction and takes as a reference studies on human resources that trigger practices towards the effectiveness of companies and that are adapted to the context of today’s organizations. The essence of the research lies in the application of an instrument to determine the correlation between these two variables (management and satisfaction) in a public institution of the Peruvian health sector. To this end, the type and model of the study is informative, correlatio-nal, cross-sectional and quantitative. The society was made up of all appointed and contracted civilian administrative employees of the Hospital Militar Central, making a total of 279 subjects (17 professionals, 108 technicians, 114 auxiliaries and 40 administrative staff) from which the value of the sample was defined as 162 individuals. A survey model was used to collect the data, and for the processing of the information and analysis of the results, the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program of the Microsoft Windows Office package was used, supported by the SPSS® statistical software.
