Abstract
Currently the Peruvian health system is fragmented, disorganized and unjust, organized according to the social condition of the social groups, with markedly differentiated attention and expenses and a great iniquity in the distribution of public subsidies, which marginalizes the most dispossessed groups; this was due to an excluding state that established categories of citizens with differentiated rights. Social inequalities, poor living conditions and limited access to services explain the enormous gaps between the urban and rural populations. Health care, from the moment a patient is first admitted or when he or she has been previously attended to, has a significant connotation, starting with a long waiting queue for the respective care, in addition to the location of his or her clinical history, which is another major problem. The solution through a Hospital Queue Management Software will significantly reduce waiting times in the care of the hospital’s patients.
