La ciudad y los rostros del otro: El bienestar humano en un contexto metropolitano

The development of large cities has brought with it a concentration of population, in spaces with high demographic density and, in general, with problems in urban planning. In this sense the person tends to lose visibility searching the city concept. This article shows a discussion on the construction of the identity, the subjectivity, and the role of social interaction on this space. On a second moment, a look concerning the distinction of other persons, people, who are part of thi s social organization, the importance of the construction of meaning through language and social interaction, the role of the metropolitan territory in this context of development and human welfare, with emphasis on the coexistence in the city as a common living space.
