Abstract

© 2020, CSIC Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas. The considerable increase of websites on the Internet with different themes has prompted users to use this medium to search for and obtain information. Of all the search engines used for this task, Google is the one most people use as their preferred search engine. With this in mind, it becomes critical to reach the best positions in the search results in order to promote a website. This work offers a 6 phases based method to recommend personalized positioning factors to the owners of web pages, in order to improve the ranking of their web pages in the Google search engine. The method was applied in a test web page and a considerable improvement in its positioning was obtained.
