Abstract

Morphological variation of Telmatobius atahualpai (Anura: Telmatobiidae) w comments on its phylogenetic relationships and synapomorphies for the gen Telmatobius atahualpai was described on the basis of a subadult female and three juvenil A new diagnosis and a description of the adult skeleton of specimens from two localit are provided. We also comment on synapomorphies of the genus and on possil phylogenetic relationships of T. atahualpai with other members of the genus.
