Abstract

Describes experiments carried out to study some of the factors affecting reproductive efficiency under field conditions, with special emphasis on the effects of nutrition, body weight, suckling and some adaptation related parameters in pure- and cross-bred Zebu cattle. Progesterone assay was used in combination with clinical examination to evaluate more precisely the reproductive parameters studied. -from Authors
