Abstract

The construction of the information services catalogue is an activity that has been carried out using conventional mechanisms; however, research that includes automation as a cross-cutting element in the construction and management activities of the catalogue has recently been developed, focusing on its architecture. The general objective of this research work is to present a software for the automation of the construction of the catalogue of information technology services. An assessment has been carried out by professionals working in private organizations, in relation to the contribution of the software in the identification of services, the classification of services, the feedback of the catalog and the management of information technology services. The analysis was then carried out based on the assessment of the developed tool, it is concluded that automation is an important element to streamline and facilitate service management tasks.
