Resumen

The species of Pieridae portrayed in the watercolor paintings of "Mariposas de Venezuela" by Théophile Raymond (1982, Ediciones Corpoven, Caracas) are identified herein. Two skippers, erroneously identified by Orellana et al (2002, Entomotropica 17(1): 107-109) are corrected herein. Comments to improve the knowledge on some species are included.
