N2 - According to the World Health Organization, the most affected places with the presence of polluting gases and particles in suspension are urban areas due to the emissions corresponding to human activities, they have also caused diseases and deaths in millions of people in the world. This paper describes the process of design and implementation of an electronic prototype applying the Internet of Things concept with a cloud storage and processing service. This device has the purpose of monitoring in real-time the air quality through the presence of pollutant gases and PM10 and PM2.5 suspended particles to carry out later studies that contribute to prevention measures in the health care of the population.
