Resumen
The Droseraceae are one of the recent novelties in the Peruvian endemic flora. The family includes herbs and insectivorous plants and is represented in Peru by one species in the genus Drosera (Ulloa Ulloa et al., 2004), which here is recognized as endemic. It grows in microhabitats of the Very Humid Montane Forests region, between 2700 and 2800 m elevation. It has not yet been recorded in Peru's protected areas system.
