Resumen
The objective of the study was to determine the in vitro microbial susceptibility of Enterococcus faecalis against different concentrations of Peruvian Copaifera officinalis (copaiba) essential oil compared to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite. 90 repetitions were performed in petri dishes with Enterococcus faecalis strain, which were divided into 5 groups: 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% Copaifera officinalis essential oil; and 2.5% sodium hypochlorite. The microbial susceptibility of Enterococcus faecalis against 100%, 75% and 75% Copaifera officinalis essential oil was found to be higher compared to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite.
