Resumen
Nowadays, coca leaf is consumed in different forms, such as: flours, teas, infusions, oils, gels, etc. Coca leaf derived products are part of the life of the Andean communities, from a cultural standpoint, as well as part of Andean traditional medicine. This brief paper will examine the medicinal applications of this plant, past, present and future.
