The book's production in Peru, 1960-2001

This paper talks about the book 's production in Peru, with emphasis on the editorial activity and the Book's law approbation, that actually is on the Republic Congress. There is a very close relation between the author f editor and the bookseller; in our envelopment, the author becomes in editor in order to diminish the costs and finally in distributor and seller of his books or periodic publications. In the analyzed period, exists a constant: lacks a Book's law that promotes popular editions to the population and foments the reading habit in the local, regional and national background. We need create a reading conscience among the friends, professional partners and students. Is important remark that, the editorial university activities come receiving a significant support to publish books on novelty and interesting themes, in the university, national and international community.
