Resumen

This paper sets out the objective of analyzing the perception that regular basic education peruvian teachers have on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational field. For this, a quantitative-descriptive research was structured and the database of the II Encuesta Nacional a Docentes (Peruvian Teachers Survey-ENDO) carried out by Ministerio de Educación (Peruvian Ministry of Education-Minedu) in 2016 was used, the results of which were published in 2018. The sample is conformed by 9823 teachers of public and private schools of all country. The results allow us to conclude that there is a lack of knowledge about the use and benefits of ICT applied to the teaching-learning process, which is reflected in the moderately positive perception of the ICT use in the pedagogical work of teachers.
